A breakthrough in the Horacio “Atio” Castillo III hazing victim case happened when an Aegis Jvris fraternity member broke their “code of silence” to tell all about what happened during the wee hours in the morning of September 17, 2017.

Frat member, Marc Ventura, narrated in his sworn statement how the final initiation rites started with a prayer that nothing bad happens which eventually ended with something bad really happening. Marc Ventura is now under the DOJ’s witness protection program and is ready to tell all on the next Senate hearing this November.

Extended Philippine Passport Validity

The Philippine Passport will be valid for 10 years starting January 1, 2018. This order was signed by Allan Peter Cayetano last October 26, 2017. For minors, passport validity is up to 5 years. The same fee remains for renewal. So, if you are having a hard time getting an appointment online and are not in a rush in getting a passport, might as well wait for the opening of January appointments.
